This is perfect for self-harmers out there; it made me feel not so alone

Something everyone, self-
harmer or not--should read...

This was a page turner for me. I couldn't wait to see what would happen next...

I couldn't put this story down. It captures the reality of abuse & addiction. This is the truth of just how quick you find your self strung out & caught in an even worse trap then a person ever thought possible. It was a great read & I'd recommend it to anyone.

Will she survive?

I've read many books with evil characters but this one evoked the desire of wanting the bad guy to appear in 3D form so that I could beat him with a brick. Or maybe a bar of soap in a sock...

I just finished reading The Devil's Swing by Amy Ray. I liked the book. It reminded me of how crazy I was as a young girl in her teens; however, I did not become addicted to drugs. I feel that the target audience for this book should be geared toward teenagers. After reading it, I felt as if I had just read a Judy Blume book.

This book is about physical, mental, and sexual abuse. Ms. Ray grabs you from the first chapter of the book. I laughed, cried, and got mad in this book to where I had to continue to read. It's a book that is very difficult to put. So, many twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat. I highly recommended this book to mature adults and teens. I am very interested in reading more of this authors books.
